It all began in 2009 with a simple conviction: God is up to something in Berlin! A small group of people dreamed of planting a church where people could encounter Jesus and find a place to belong. Around the same time, Emmanuel Church in Brighton, England, developed a vision to plant churches in major European cities. God brought together people with the same heart and passion, and in 2014, Neville and Sue Jones moved from Brighton to Berlin and joined forces with the local group to plant Mosaik Church.

What started small has grown over the years into a vibrant, international church family. Our first Sunday gatherings took place at Café Mittelpunkt, followed by Forum Factory and eventually the historic Heeresbäckerei. Since 2020, Mosaik has been led by David and Jenny Schnitter. Along the way, we’ve seen God open new doors, bring people together, and grow our church in ways we could never have imagined.

In 2024, another exciting chapter began as we launched our second location in Potsdam. And since October 2026, we’ve been gathering for our Berlin services right in the heart of the city, at the Meliá Hotel on Friedrichstraße. New places, new opportunities, but the same passion: to make much of Jesus in our lives and build a church where people can discover faith, experience genuine community, and grow in their relationship with God.

Today, over 600 people from around 80 nations gather at Mosaik every week. We worship in both German and English, meet in small groups across the city, and enjoy a thriving church life for children, teenagers, and adults. What brings us together isn’t our background, language, or life story, but Jesus Christ.
