How it all began
It all started in 2009, when a group of people in Berlin felt that God was about to do something new in the city. At the same time, Emmanuel Church in Brighton developed a vision to plant new churches in major cities. This vision brought Neville and Sue Jones from Brighton to Germany, where they teamed up with the Berlin group. Together, in 2014, they launched Mosaik – a young, vibrant church right in the heart of the capital.
Our first gatherings were at Café Mittelpunkt, later moving to Forum Factory in Kreuzberg. In 2020, David and Jenny Schnitter stepped into leadership, bringing their passion and experience from years of ministry in Berlin. These days, we meet on Sundays at Magazin der Heeresbäckerei to worship God, sing together, dive into His Word, and build meaningful connections. Beyond Sundays, small groups gatherings across the city and programs for kids, youth, and adults create space for vibrant community and spiritual growth. In the summer of 2024, we started an exciting new chapter by launching our first extension in Potsdam, trusting God for what’s ahead.
Today, Mosaik is a diverse, international church family. With people from over 65 nations, we get to see a glimpse of what heaven will one day look like! Our services and events are held in both German and English, making space for everyone to feel at home, no matter where they are from. We’re amazed by what God is doing in and through us and can’t wait to continue this journey with you.
